journey along the Atlantic Seaboard
to the most South Westerly Point of South Africa,
also known as Cape Point around the
Cape Peninsula.
With La Rochelle Tours you will experience, first hand, the delights of the
Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, Boulders Beach
Penguin Colony – where penguins have the right of way,
Just Nuisance statue at
Simon’s Town, Chapman’s Peak Drive
(when accessible), Hout Bay, the upmarket
residential and holiday resorts of Clifton Beach
and Camps Bay. Some days might be varied to
include a visit to a wine estate in the
Constantia Valley or the
Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
A two day version might include a visit to
the majestic Table Mountain (weather
permitting), Cecil John Rhodes Memorial as
well as a trip to Robben Island where
Nelson Mandela spend 18 years of his
imprisonment. He spent a total of 27 years in prison and was finally released
from the Victor Verster Prison (now known as the Drakenstein Correctional
Service) in Paarl on 11 February 1990.
Activities like Robben Island and Table Mountain must
be pre-booked by the client (can be done on-line and is refundable).
Regrettably Table Mountain visit can’t be combined with normal Full Day
Peninsula tour as this will mean you have to rush the day’s activities.
All tours by La Rochelle Tours are conducted by
accredited tourguides in air conditioned
vehicles. Our groups are never larger than 10 guests, making your day comfortable
and personalized.
These tours are offered on a Private Basis only.
Our rates include a guide & vehicle for the day.
Our rates exclude all the entrance fees & activities
you wish to do as all guest has a varied interest and thus only pay
for what they wish to do.
Guests will be collected from their hotels or guest houses
in the winelands only.
