chocolate, cheese, olive oils and wine tasting tour. With this full day wine
tour of the Cape Winelands you will tickle your taste buds like never before.
This chocolate, cheese, olive oil and wine tour will leave you in no doubt that
you should renew that long forgotten gym membership.
Experience the best that the
Cape Winelands has to offer. The
chocolate and wine combination tasting can
be enjoyed on either the Franschhoek Wine Route or Stellenbosch Wine Route or
the Paarl Wine Route – the location will depend in which area we collect our
guests. We only visit wine estates where you will be able to enjoy a chocolate
and wine combination tasting as there are many “fakes” out there where the
chocolate and wine do not match at all.
The olive oils can be sampled at quite a few
wine estates if you know where to find these hidden gems as not all the estates
offer good quality virgin olive oil.
For the cheese and wine tasting we are
blessed to have quite a few good venues in the Cape Winelands area that offer
cheese and wine tastings. The estate that we visit will depend on the guests we
have on the vehicle on any given day as we try to plan this around what wine our
clients like. It is worth mentioning that most of the estates that offer
combination tasting has more red wines than whites available for tasting, thus
it’s ideal for those who loves their red wines.
Lunch (not included in the tour rate) and the location (often on a different
wine estate than where we do the tastings) with depend on the route we follow on
that day.
All the guides from La Rochelle Tours are Cape Wine Academy educated. Our groups
are small – never bigger than 10 guests – ensuring excellent and personalised
service. We can, however, accommodate larger groups.
If this full day wine tour does not get your
heart racing then perhaps you should try bungy jumping.
Our guests will be collected from their hotels or guest houses as we don’t want
you to drink and drive.
Our rates include all the wine combination tastings to the estates selected by
our guide. Lunch will be for your own account.
Please note that La Rochelle Tours will take no
responsibility for any guest dying of utter happiness!
